Oil GasFifo4/4 (weeks)

Bonga is a deepwater oil and gas field roughly 120 kilometres off the Niger Delta coast near Port Harcourt, in water beyond a kilometre deep. Operated by Shell's Nigerian deepwater arm, SNEPCo, on behalf of a joint venture with the Nigerian state, Bonga was the country's first deepwater development, moving from discovery in 1993 to first oil in 2005. Around sixteen subsea wells feed one of the largest floating production, storage and offloading vessels in the world, capable of handling roughly 200,000 barrels of oil and 150 million cubic feet of gas a day, with associated gas piped onward to Nigeria's LNG export terminal at Bonny.

Approximate location based on Port Harcourt, offshore Niger Delta, NG.
