Stores & Warehouse

The people who keep parts, consumables and tools moving on site: storepersons, warehouse officers, tool store attendants and their supervisors.

What it involves: Receiving and issuing parts, keeping stock records in the site's system, running the tool store, and getting the right components to maintenance crews on time.

Typical requirements: A forklift licence and experience with a warehouse or inventory system are common asks. It's one of the more accessible ways onto a mine site without a trade.
