Scaffolding, Rigging & Rope Access

Crews who build access and move heavy loads around plant and shutdowns: scaffolders, riggers, rope access technicians and crane operators.

What it involves: Erecting and inspecting scaffold, slinging and directing lifts, and working at height on ropes to reach plant that scaffold can't, much of it during planned shutdowns.

Typical requirements: Ads usually name the level wanted, such as basic or advanced scaffolding, intermediate or advanced rigging, or a rope access certification. In Australia scaffolding, rigging and crane work need a high risk work licence.
