Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers – Fixed Plant Maintenance | Boddington/Marradong

About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to join our Rostered Fixed Plant Maintenance Crew in the Boddington/Marradong area. We have two lifestyle roster options available, both on 12-hour dayshifts:

• Monday – Wednesday (3 days on, 4 off)

• 7/7 (7 days on, 7 off)

Work your hours and enjoy your RnR how you want to! These are daily drive-in, drive-out roles, ideally suiting someone who lives within a 45-minute drive of site.

Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for hands-on maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across fixed plant operations.
Boilermakers will be responsible for fabrication, welding and structural repairs across fixed plant operations.
Both roles play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance outcomes.

Key Duties – Mechanical Fitters:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, including breakdown repairs

• Work on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps and more

• Provide technical input, troubleshooting and support where required

Key Duties – Boilermakers:

• Carry out fabrication, welding and repairs on fixed plant equipment and structures

• Repair and replace chutes, hoppers, liners, wear plates and structural steel

• Perform planned shutdown and breakdown repair work

• Read and interpret drawings to complete accurate, quality fabrication

All Team Members Will:

• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures

• Drive productivity, quality workmanship and continuous improvement

What do I need to join?

• Australian recognised trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker

• Experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry

• Current Driver's Licence

• White Card

• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (essential)

• National Police Clearance within the past 6 months, or willingness to obtain one

• Motivated and hard-working with a professional attitude
