WesTrac is an authorised Caterpillar (Cat) equipment dealer operating across Western Australia, New South Wales and the ACT, with more than 30 years in the business. Owned by SGH Ltd, it employs around 4,500 people, including roughly 450 apprentices in its accredited training institutes, across 37 branch locations plus dedicated technology, fluid-sampling and rebuild facilities. The company sells, rents, finances and services Cat machinery, including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, drills, hydraulic mining shovels and off-highway trucks, for customers in mining, construction, infrastructure and agriculture, with a strong presence in Australia's iron ore and thermal coal regions.
