South32 is a diversified mining and metals company producing bauxite, alumina, aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, silver and manganese, with operations including Worsley Alumina and Cannington in Australia, the Sierra Gorda and Brazil aluminium smelters in the Americas, Mozal Aluminium in Southern Africa, and growth projects such as Hermosa in Arizona. The company reported FY25 underlying EBITDA of US$1.93 billion, and has been running a multi-year global safety improvement program, reporting a Total Recordable Injury Frequency of 3.7 in FY25, down from 5.1 the prior year.
